Platform Scheme Design

Pay attention to the effective relation between turbine location and turbine library (including turbine type and tower model) and complete turbine type information table.

The platform and hoist product is improved with new function of turbine hoisting design, such as main hoist recommendation. Before platform scheme calculation, complete configuration of the turbine type parameters. Generally, these parameters are loaded automatically from turbine type parameters. If some of them are empty, input them manually. The values of these parameters can be acquired from turbine manufacturor.

The platform and hoist product supports prohibited area definition and constraints on various cost zone. Define these areas and zones and select them in platform calculation. Currently, the buildings database embedded in Greenwich is available. The database for water areas, roads and hardened areas will be added in the future versions.

Design achievement: Output engineering quantity with dismantlement cost, recommended hoisting measure of each turbine location, etc. Check the details in the overview page of platform. You can export a word file on these details, but the screenshot of each turbine location needs to be captured manually.

Component exhibition and hoist risk page provides intuitive options of hoisting measure, hoist assembling space, etc. You are enabled to select or deselect various components as you wish.

  • Mandatory component on platform: Nacelle and hub are selected by default. Adopt default values for foundation safety radius, hoisting area, and hoist arm length.
  • Tower selection: For complex hilly areas (terrain complexity no less than 9.5), select one tower section. For project in general hilly areas and plain area (terrain complexity less than 9.5), select two tower sections.
  • Blade: Do not select this option.
  • Turn-around platform: Do not select this option.
