Route Engineering Quantity Design

  • Route longitudinal slope: For complex hilly areas (terrain complexity no less than 9.5), set up maximum longitudinal slope as 18%. For project in general hilly areas and plain area (terrain complexity less than 9.5), set up maximum longitudinal slope as 14%.
  • Route cross section gradient: For complex hilly areas (terrain complexity no less than 9.5), set up backfill as 1:1.3 and excavation ratio as 1:0.25. For project in general hilly areas and plain area (terrain complexity less than 9.5), set up backfill as 1:1.5 and excavation ratio as 1:0.35.
  • Engineering quantity estimation of retaining wall: For complex hilly areas (terrain complexity no less than 9.5), set up engineering quantity as 8500 m3. For project in general hilly areas (terrain complexity less than 9.5), set up engineering quantity as 6500 m3. For flat ground, set up engineering quantity as 0 m3.

  • Drainage engineering quantity estimation: For complex hilly areas (terrain complexity no less than 9.5), set up engineering quantity as 350 m3. For project in general hilly areas (terrain complexity less than 9.5), set up engineering quantity as 150 m3. For flat ground, set up engineering quantity as 60 m3(add another 50m3 for project with many rivers or ponds).
