PBOM Estimation Generation
To perform budget estimation calculation, associate the turbine type arrangement scheme PBOM, turbine foundation scheme PBOM, route scheme PBOM, platform scheme PBOM, substation scheme PBOM, and power line scheme PBOM output by Greenwich, set up wind farm financing parameters and land property, and click Calculate to generate the overall PBOM and budget estimation of the wind farm project.
- Complete the calculation of the PBOM of each associated unit project scheme and the PBOM template of every unit project must be the same.
- Fill in the financing parameters according to the project condition and keep consistent with the successive economic evaluation parameters. Financing parameters are applied to calculate dynamic investment and total investment. (Refer to the economic evaluation design guide for more information of these parameters.)
- Fill in the wind farm land form type according to the actual situation found in site reconnaissance. This would impact the recommended material price in PBOM.
- After the wind farm PBOM is generated, the engineering quantity of each unit project is not editable in designed budget estimation mode. Only unit price is editable. The engineering quantity of wind farm PBOM other than those of unit projects is editable.
- Check the budget estimation overview page for the unit indices of each unit project, scheme details, and unit price, judge the cost level, and adjust the material price in the PBOM.
- Since the recommended prices in unit price library are updated by quarter and the prices are only in average level but not applicable in all projects, adjust the prices according to the project phase, customer requirements, price range, inquiry, and other conditions of the project. Refer to following table for method and range of adjustment. Adopt the default value if no special specifications are provided.

Foundation (not including anchor) | It is related to turbine hub height and geological condition. The price of a natural extended foundation is 500,000 - 700,000 RMB and the price of a pile foundation is 1,000,000 -1,200,000 RMB. |
Platform | It is related to terrain and geology. On flat ground, the price is 10,000 - 100,000 RMB for a platform and 100,000 - 300,000 for hilly area. |
Route | The price of newly constructed route on flat ground is 150,000 - 300,000 RMB/km, for rebuilt and expanded route on flat ground is 100,000 - 150,000 RMB/km, for newly constructed route in hilly area is 300,000 - 600,000 RMB/km, and for rebuilt and expanded route in hilly area is 200,000 - 300,000 RMB/km. |
