Out-Field Route
Out-field route design utilize existing road network to calculate route scheme.
Special actions should be taken if you encounter the following conditions:
- The approximate out-field route is determined by highway exit selection. Select the highway exit with wide lane accord to the standard. Verify the width on site if necessary.
- For roads below the prefectural road level (excluding prefectural road) which are located in area with many right-angled turnings and houses, define them as prohibited areas.
- If out-field route, such as national road, provincial road, prefectural road, crosses with highway and railway, pay attention to the vertical relationship (over crossing is not influential). In situation of culvert, verify the head room and passibility on site.
- If there are buildings at road turning that cannot be dismantled, such as high-level transformer foundation, culture relic, etc., define them as prohibited areas.
- For long-span bridges over roads below the prefectural road level (excluding prefectural road), verify the load capacity and passibility on site.
