Micrositing Report

After micrositing is completed, wind farm micrositing report is available to be generated based on mast, WTG group layout, and CFD model. It is applicable for data analysis and summary and review of the micrositing result.

Three steps are composed in the micrositing report generation: creating micrositing report object, configuring micrositing report parameters, and checking report.

Creating Micrositing Report

  1. Click the project name in the project tree to select this project.
  2. Click the import/export button img01 in the operation button area to open the Import/Export page.
  3. In the Create tab, select Micrositing report in the menu.
  4. Input report name.
  5. Click OK. The message Create object successfully. appears. The micrositing report object is added in the project tree.

Configuring Micrositing Report Parameters

  1. Click the newly created micrositing report object in the project tree.

  2. Click the expand icon 《 at the right top of the interface to open the operation pane.

  3. Click the Property tab to check the object type and modify project phase.

  4. Click the Operation tab to set up relevant parameters.

    a.Click configuration in the Mast area and select the time range. The selected mast should be processed and the it is recommended to select a full year as time range.

    Note

    When you select mast, make sure that the referential mast used in mast data repair is not deleted. Or else, the report task cannot be completed.

    b.Select WTG group (s) in the WTGGroup area.

    All WTG group objects after AEP calculation in the project are listed. You can select more than one.

    You can adjust the order of wtggroups. The schemes will present in sorted order.

    c.Select WTG group (s) in the WTGGroup area.

    The seleted map and its area will be shown in the report.

    d.Select a CFD model object in the CFDModel area. All CFD model objects in the project are listed.

    e.Select “Chinses” or “English” in template language area.

  5. Click Start to submit the calculation task.

  6. Choose Tools Library > Task List.

  7. Select Microsite Report in the task type list. Check the task progress. When the progress reaches 100% and the Status column shows Done, the report is generated successfully.

Checking Report

Micrositing report consists of the demonstration and summary of various data of the wind farm.

  1. Double-click the micrositing report object in the project tree. The report content is displayed. The report content consists of project overview, project profile, wind resource analysis, modeling analysis, turbine model and layout, security analysis, profit analysis, and source data.
  2. Click the project name in the Project pane. Click the Import/Export button in the operation button area to open the Import/Export page. Click the Export tab. Select report in the menu, then export word file.
